Who we are…

Glen Elder Christian Church is one of over 5,600 non-denominational Christian fellowships in the United States comprising over a million members. With one of our sister churches averaging over 17,000 attendees.

The Independent Christian Churches are the fastest growing protestant movement in the world. We have more churches than any other group that averages 5,000 or more in attendance.

As an independent body of believers, we at Glen Elder Christian Church enjoy freedom from external control or influence. The local membership of this autonomous family makes all decisions related to church government, such as selection of church leaders, disbursements of funds, and matters of policy.

Glen Elder Christian Church voluntarily cooperates with other congregations in the support of colleges and seminaries, camps, missions and benevolent projects as determined by the leadership.

Following the pattern of the early New Testament Church, Glen Elder Christian Church

As a non-denominational family we are free to become the kind of church that Jesus wants His church to be! We are not a building, not a program, not a promotion, but a people. Our church family is made up of people just like you, people who need Christ! Our members are imperfect people, people at various stages of maturity, people seeking to grow up into the image of Christ, acknowledges the role of the local elders as the spiritual shepherds of the congregation. In all matters of faith and practice, the church seeks to follow the example of our Lord’s Church as patterned in the Bible.
